What are griseofulvin tablets or capsules? GRISEOFULVIN (Grifulvin® V, Grisactin®, Gris-PEG®) is an antifungal type of antibiotic. It treats fungus infections, caused by tinea organisms, of the skin, hair, and nails. Griseofulvin is used for infections that do not go away when treated with antifungal skin products.
